Liberty Property Trust’s Spring Bulb Sale Supports Home of the Sparrow
Avid gardeners were on hand at 7:00 AM on May 20th when Liberty Property Trust offered thousands of tulip and daffodil bulbs for sale under the tent at 2 West Liberty Boulevard. The pretty pink, purple and red tulips and bright yellow daffodils that enhanced the plantings in the Great Valley Corporate Center this spring will be appearing in gardens near you next spring.
Scores of people who work in the corporate center each day look forward to this annual sale. It’s an ideal time to stock up on quality bulbs at a great price, but, most importantly, for a great cause. Home of the Sparrow is the proud recipient of the proceeds from this year’s event, which totaled nearly $3,000!
Sparrow volunteers worked with Liberty Property Trust’s Joan Ryan and Kristine Cavanaugh, who facilitated the bulb sale. They even provided instructions on the care and planting of spring bulbs for new gardeners!
Home of the Sparrow sends a special thank you to all of Liberty’s staff who helped to bag and sell the bulbs.
To all those procrastinators out there who purchased bulbs, be sure to get those bulbs back in the ground before the first frost!
Each bulb purchased will help to make the difference in the lives of the homeless women and children in our programs! Thank you!
