on Thursday, May 13. The social will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Three Little Pigs Restaurant in West Chester.
Graze on hors d’oeuvres while you make new friends. Tickets are $35 and selling fast. Don’t miss it; contact

and is near several parking lots.
May 19 - Spring Bulb Sale at Liberty Property Trust
Landscapers dig up thousands of daffodils and tulips from the Great Valley Corporate Center, 2 West
Liberty Boulevard, Malvern. You can help sell them, with the proceeds going to Home of the Sparrow.
Sale starts at 7 a.m. Be there to buy or help staff the booth: 7-9 a.m., 9-11 a.m. or 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sign

June 6 - Super Sunday in Downtown West Chester
Help staff our informational booth or stop by to learn more about Home of the Sparrow. Super Sunday is a
free event on Gay Street between Matlack and Darlington streets with food, games, entertainment and fun for
the family. Volunteer shifts are: 10:30-1, 1-3, and 3-5:30. Call our office: 610-647-4940.
June 19, 2010 - Jazz at Brushwood
Join us at Brushwood Stable in Malvern for our 15th annual Jazz fundraiser. Kick off the evening with us at
6:00 PM and enjoy some fabulous hors d’oeuvres! Enjoy a fabulous buffet dinner donated, prepared and served
by the American Culinary Federation – Philadelphia Chapter, and an open bar. The

July 29 - Best of the Main Line and Western Suburbs Party at Drexelbrook
Preview at 5; party at 6:30-9. Join the winners of Main Line Today Magazine’s annual contest to find the best
food, drinks and services on the Main Line. Enjoy samples of food, beverages and products, along with
live entertainment. Proceeds benefit several nonprofits, including Home of the Sparrow. Call the office

August 5 - Swinging Summer Thursday in downtown West Chester
Live Music between High St. and Darlington Streets from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. Food, clowns, artists, magicians,
jugglers, face painting and family fun! Help staff an informational booth or stop by to learn more about
Home of the Sparrow. Volunteers needed to help at the booth, 6-8 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. Call our office for

Run for the Sparrow – 5K Run and Family Fun Walk – September 18, 2010
Polish up your sneakers, grab the family and meet us at East Goshen Park in West Chester on September 18th
for our first annual Run for the Sparrow. Registration begins at 2PM. The 5K starts at 3PM and the family
one-mile fun walk starts at 3:05! More Info

Join us for Home of the Sparrow’s Fall Fashion Show and Luncheon, Fashion to Fund the Future. Join us at
the Desmond Great Valley Hotel in Malvern from 11:30 am TO 1:30 pm. Proceeds benefit Home of the Sparrow’s
Elizabeth B. Stull Education Fund.

Saturday, June 13, 2009 – Jazz At Brushwood
Flip flops, sneakers, Wellingtons and even bare feet were the footwear of choice for guests at Home of the
Sparrow’s 14th annual jazz gala. Drenching downpours did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of partygoers!
More than 450 intrepid supporters of Home of the Sparrow braved the elements to support Jazz at
Brushwood 2009. The theme of the event was An Evening in
Tuscany. Continued.
