Fighting Homelessness One Family at a Time

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world."

Margaret Mead

The Vision

Home of the Sparrow was founded in 1994 by a group of concerned citizens dedicated to improving the lives of homeless women and children. We accomplish this by providing these families safe housing along with a broad range of social services, including vocational and educational programs and counseling. We offer a wide range of volunteer opportunities to local organizations as well as individuals.
