Chief Executive Officer Patricia McLennan, CPA, has served as CEO since August 2000. Previously she held the positions of Treasurer (1996-1998) and President (1998-2000) of the Board of Directors. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Widener University with a BS in Business Administration, a member of Phi Kappa Phi national honor society, and the Great Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce. She also serves on the finance Commission at St. Peter's Church in the Great Valley, Malvern

Director of Volunteer Services Virginia Parry joined the agency in 1998. She is a cum laude graduate of Muhlenberg College where she earned a BA in English. Her volunteering experience is extensive and includes service on committees for 2 school district strategic plans, the local park and recreation committee, and projects for Habitat for Humanity.

Director of Operations Darla Nutter joined the agency in 2000. Darla is a native of Fargo, ND and earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Aakers Business College. Darla has extensive experience in office administration. She has served in various volunteer roles at Paoli Presbyterian Church and is currently a Deacon at the church.

Program Coordinator Nicole Mullett, MSW, LSW joined Home of the Sparrow in June 2007. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Eastern University and her Masters degree in Social Work from Widener University. Nicole provides case management services for our clients and assists in day-to-day operations. Prior to joining Home of the S parrow, Nicole counseled children and families involved with juvenile probation and the Chester County Department of Children, Youth and Families.

HomeShare Coordinator Matrie Johnson, MS joined Home of the Sparrow in November 2006. She holds a BS in Marketing from Howard University and an MS in Nonprofit Management from Eastern University. Matrie has worked extensively with homeless women and children and co-founded a mentoring program for homeless women at a family shelter in Philadelphia.

Development Associate Lauren Mallik  joined the organization in November 2007. She holds a BA in Journalism with a Public Relations concentration in addition to a Spanish minor from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Lauren is a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority where she practiced her PR skills and was recognized for scholarship achievements. She is also a member Order of Omega, an organization recognizing outstanding leadership.

Property Manager Bruce Field has been with the agency since its inception. He worked to help us acquire our first location in Paoli. He went on to lead the volunteer effort in the renovations of our first agency-owned property. Bruce has been invaluable in overseeing the maintenance, repairs and upkeep of our properties, as well as assisting us with our special events needs.
