Israel Gordon was born in Philadelphia, PA and spent his early years in Germantown. Upon moving to Coatesville with his family as a pre-teen he has always been active in Chester County and the Philadelphia area. After attending Church Farm School for high school and attending WCU for two years majoring in Music Education, he spent five years working with the special needs community as a direct support professional. He also spent three years at WCHE 1520AM as a radio host/producer and advertising assistant. His goal is to provide a platform that uplifts the community and supports local businesses, primarily black-owned. As someone who values giving back to the community and providing support for people in need, it is a privilege to share his talents with Home of the Sparrow. Finding ways to help those in need and get them going in the right direction is a personal mission that aligns with the core values of this wonderful organization.
