Our History

In 1994, a passionate group of neighbors founded Home of the Sparrow in Malvern, Pennsylvania. They shared the vision that no woman or child should experience homelessness in Chester County. As a result, we developed a holistic strategy to help single women and mothers in danger of losing their homes. We started with one home in Paoli and now have a presence throughout the county. Due to over two decades of experience, we continue to grow and innovate to help single women and mothers in danger of losing their homes.
